NI master class

Unconscious excellence in leadership and personal growth

This intense residential programme is for directors and chief executives who want to minimise abstraction time from their workplace.

Its accelerated learning pace makes it ideal for those who are used to maintaining high levels of concentration and intellectual effort over long periods late into the evening.

Deliverables

Leadership

The Master Class shows how to acquire behaviours which transform leadership and financial performance:

  • Emotional proficiency
  • Four emotionally intelligent leadership styles which work
  • Two commonly used styles which trigger de-motivation

Zest for Life

All New Impetus variants share a generic deliverable, massively improved Zest for Life:

  • Motivation, drive, energy, initiative
  • Can-do-will-do spirit, positivity & optimism, resilience
  • Confidence, self-belief, self-worth
  • Realising one's full potential – more relevant to fulfilment than achievement per se
  • Taking responsibility for one's own situation and outcomes

Zest which lasts and renews itself comes from within. Contemporary psychology identifies the source, and delegates learn how to optimise it.

Approach

New Impetus delivers lasting change by addressing things at source via:

  • Psychology: Self-concept psychology explains that we learn characteristic patterns of thinking and behaviour to which we default. We teach simple mental exercises to change these defaults sustainably.
  • Neuroscience: Neuro-plasticity explains that patterns of thought and behaviour exist in the brain as links between neurons. Reconfiguring them changes how we think and behave. We teach how to direct this natural process.
