Deliverables
All New Impetus variants share a generic deliverable, massively improved Zest for Life:
- Motivation, drive, energy, initiative
- Can-do-will-do spirit, positivity & optimism, resilience
- Confidence, self-belief, self-worth
- Taking responsibility for one's own situation and outcomes
The evidence shows that Zest lifts performance, accelerates change and improves business results eg share-value growth by 38%, profits by 390%, and sales by 123% to 667%.
Zest which lasts and renews itself comes from within. Contemporary psychology identifies the source, and delegates learn how to optimise it.
Other outcomes include:
- Releasing Potential: how to activate one's latent abilities in the workplace using the psychology behind cases like Olympic weightlifter Vasily Alexeyev increasing his world record from below 500lbs to 582lbs
- Team-working and Influencing: how to acquire a natural focus on others and emotional competence based skills which defuse conflicts and drive resonance
- Embracing Change: how to move from change-resisting to pro-change orientation via improving positivity and self-esteem.
Approach
New Impetus delivers lasting change by addressing things at source via:
- Psychology: Self-concept psychology explains that we learn characteristic patterns of thinking and behaviour to which we default. We teach simple mental exercises to change these defaults sustainably.
- Neuroscience: Neuro-plasticity explains that patterns of thought and behaviour exist in the brain as links between neurons. Reconfiguring them changes how we think and behave. We teach how to direct this natural process.
