Graham Keen
Our founder Graham Keen brings 10 years boardroom experience in consumer & medical electronics, retail, and contract services. He also offers 12 years as a professional adviser in financial management, corporate finance, M&A and privatisation prior to GKP.
Ever since it enabled him to come back from personal loss twelve years ago, Graham has devoted himself to understanding contemporary science's contribution to developing personal and organisational potential. For ten years he has used this expertise to help blue-chip companies in the UK, continental Europe, and the US.
Background
After leaving Oxford University Graham spent three years as a sales engineer then joined his family's company as a general manager and director. When the family sold out he trained as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young leaving six years later as a Senior Manager.
He was Finance & Commercial Director of a medical technology start-up in the UK and US, Group Finance Director of a market-leading automotive services company, and Group Finance Director of a telephones to word processors group rescue in the UK & France.
He subsequently practised in corporate finance for eight years, mainly M&A, integrations, and privatisation, including conceiving and leading the targeted creation of a £130m retail motors group by five simultaneous acquisitions and subsequent flotation.
Prior to forming Graham Keen Partnership in 2000 he was for three years MD of a motivational training company serving larger organisations and international sportsmen.
Graham is 57 and has been married to Janie for 34 years; together they have three adult children.
